Data sheet didactic thermal camera

Description

Unlike industrial thermal cameras, the software associated to the OVIO thermal camera is completely didactical for a fast handle: punctual measuring process by pointer or index gradient, plotting of a temperature spatial gradient in real time, follow-up of the temperature evolution in several points over time.

Complete data during experiments and ability to easily process them:
- Punctual measurements by pointer or color gradient
- Profile giving the temperature spatial gradient in real time
- Temperature kinetic follow-up in several points over time
- Video recording and ex-post exploitation
- Digital data available in real time in the form of spreadsheet or graph.

The software to be downloaded for free is made of 3 tabs allowing a progressive approach in order to understand and build an infrared thermal image from the raw image provided by the bolometric sensor.

- The 1st tab: basic processing and image acquisition tools. Exporting at the AVI video format offers the possibility to view the sequence on any adapted media player.

- The 2nd tab dedicated to an applicative approach allows carrying out several handlings (emissivity setting by selection areas / temperature measurement on one or more points / Kinetics: temperature follow-up over time).

- The 3rd tab offers a profile plotting tool to obtain the temperature curve as a function of the position.
